Kandi Hansen

Kandi was born and raised in Oregon. Her dad bought her first pony at 11 years old which she
competed in 4H English and Western riding disciplines but loves timed events. Kandi currently
has two Quarter Horse geldings, Smarty and Earz, with whom she competitively competes in
barrel racing as well as an Australian Shepard named Miley. After 20 years of hotel and restaurant ownership on the Oregon coast, Kandi needed a change and relocated to Dundee, Oregon.

She has been a valued member of the Summit Equine team since 2020. Her positive attitude, professional demeanor, and superb communication skills make her an excellent team member. You will find her assisting Dr. Dora in our Sports Medicine department and occasionally lending a hand to reproduction.
